Job description

The Rosen Group is partnering with a major electric utility client to recruit a Director of Leadership & Employee Development. This is a high-impact executive role for a builder who is genuinely excited about enterprise transformation, fresh ideas, and constructing modern talent infrastructure.



The position can be based hybrid/remote in OH, PA, NJ, or WV, and will interface directly with leaders at all levelsโ€”from front-line supervisors to the C-suite.


The Role at a Glance:

  • The Mission: Lead the strategy, design, and delivery of enterprise-wide leadership curricula, career-pathing initiatives, and continuous learning ecosystems.
  • The Team: Manage and coach a dedicated team of L&D professionals (instructional design, facilitation, and program delivery).
  • The Scope: Drive modern, technology-enabled learning methodologies across both corporate and field operations.


Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years in L&D/Talent Development + 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven track record designing leadership programs within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Preferred: Experience in utilities, energy, heavy industrial, or highly regulated environments (ideally working with union/represented and non-represented workforces).
