Job description

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is a family owned plumbing service company that has operated in the Twin Cities for over 24 years. Our vision is to be the most trusted plumbing service provider in Central Minnesota by always doing the right thing, the right way, all the time. We always remember our customer's point of view in every situation and strive to exceed our customer's expectation in every way.
We are growing our business and presently in need of an equipment operator to join our team of Service Professionals.
The Underground Specialist is key member of our team, as the excavator operator for underground sewer and water line service work on plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
Ideally you have prior experience in the plumbing industry and have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Operate excavator and pipe bursting equipment
  • Provide input to developing estimates
  • Identify material needs to complete projects
  • Install and repair underground plumbing services
  • Work with blueprints and job specifications as it applies to the craft
  • Identity proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
  • Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition

Job Requirements:
  • Experienced equipment operator (minimum 2 years)
  • Valid Driver's License with CDL or ability to readily obtain CDL
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools necessary for the craft
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional appearance and personality
