Job description

The Guest Room Dining Assistant Manager at The Charleston Place supports the Room Service Manager in overseeing all aspects of the room service operations, including the delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms, ensuring exceptional service, andmaintaininghigh standardsof quality and cleanliness.The Room Service Assistant Manager will assist in scheduling, training, and supervising staff, as well as handling guest inquiries and complaints.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Room Service Manager in managing and overseeing all room service operations.

  • Help schedule, train, and supervise room service staff.

  • Ensure prompt and courteous delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms.

  • Assistin monitoring andmaintaininghigh standardsof quality, cleanliness, and presentation,

  • Help handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional andtimelymanner.

  • Collaborate with the Room Service Manager to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.

  • Assistin monitoring and controlling food and labor costs to meet budgetary guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

  • Assistinmaintaininginventory and ordering supplies as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Previousexperience in room service or food and beverage operations.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations.

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays asrequired.

  • High school diploma or equivalentrequired.

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

  • Clear visionis important for reading reports, analyzing data, and overseeing (enter department) activities.
