We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Room Service Server to join our team! Room Service is responsible for taking guests' orders over the phone and delivering food & beverage to guest rooms. They are responsible for ensuring accurate food orders as well as timely delivery.

Your role:

: The IRD Cashier takes the guests' orders by phone and enters the orders into the Micros system. The IRD Cashier will also make change for cash tickets.QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year restaurant experience.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Pleasant phone personality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak clearly and accurately in English.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Answers phone and handle telephone orders in a professional manner.
  • Input data into Agilisys system.
  • Makes change while keeping an accurate and secure bank.
  • Make copies of all paperwork and check daily.
  • Make food deliveries to guest rooms.
  • Keep clipboard full.
  • Organize wine case, empty all wine and soda boxes unless otherwise marked.
  • Re-order business cards when low.
  • Responsible for ordering office supplies, including pencils, pens, paper, Micros paper rolls, etc.
  • Polish glasses.
  • Responsible for doing a receiving order for paper goods, plastic products, tea, coffee, soda syrup, condiments, etc.
  • Complete an inventory on all wine/alcohol monthly.
  • Respond to any reasonable task assigned by supervisor or manager.
  • Help out in other areas of food and beverage as needed.
  • Makes, wraps, and delivers amenity baskets.
  • Cleans and organizes the work area.
  • Help expo/run food as needed when available during shift and busy times.
  • Help servers with tasks as needed during busy times when able. (make tea, roll silverware, polish silverware, expo food, run food, etc.)
  • Help keep sauce fridge stocked and clean.

What are we looking for?

Well lit, climate-controlled kitchen area. Moderate to frequent exposure to loud noise levels. Some odors from food preparation and/or cleaning products.
