Commercial Roofing Estimator & Sales Representative

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $75,000–$100,000 per year

About the Position

We are seeking a driven and highly motivated Commercial Roofing Estimator & Sales Representative to join our growing team.

We specialize in commercial single-ply roofing systems, re-roofing, and commercial roofing construction projects. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced roofing professional who can help develop new business, prepare accurate estimates, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, understands the estimating and bidding process, and is comfortable developing and maintaining relationships with property managers, building owners, general contractors, and other industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial roofing market
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, building owners, general contractors, and existing clients
  • Conduct job walks and site inspections to evaluate roof conditions and project requirements
  • Review plans, specifications, measurements, and project scopes
  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates, proposals, and bids
  • Estimate commercial re-roofing, repair, maintenance, and new construction projects
  • Follow up on proposals and actively work to close sales opportunities
  • Communicate with customers throughout the estimating and sales process
  • Coordinate with project management and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to project execution
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospective and existing customers
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of single-ply roofing systems, including TPO and PVC
  • Previous commercial roofing estimating and sales experience
  • Ability to read plans, specifications, and roofing scopes of work
  • Strong understanding of commercial roofing materials, installation methods, and industry practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable performing job walks and working directly with customers and contractors
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
