Roofing Service Foreman

Windsor, Ontario

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Foreman to join our growing team in Windsor.


This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled commercial roofing professional who enjoys leading crews, solving problems, and delivering high-quality work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.


This position is based locally in the Windsor-Essex region, with little to no overnight travel required. Most work is performed within the local area, allowing you to be home every night.


Position Summary
As a Service Foreman, you will lead roofing service crews performing inspections, repairs, maintenance, and small projects on commercial and industrial roofing systems. You will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Empire Roofing's high standards while providing leadership and mentorship to your team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate roofing service crews on commercial and industrial job sites
  • Inspect roofing systems and identify repair requirements
  • Perform and oversee repairs on TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal, and other commercial roofing systems
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards
  • Train, mentor, and support labourers and service technicians
  • Manage tools, equipment, materials, and daily job site logistics
  • Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, and management
  • Complete required documentation, inspections, and reporting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment
  • Promote and enforce Empire Roofing's safety policies and procedures


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing experience
  • Previous foreman, lead hand, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, particularly TPO roofing
  • Proven ability to diagnose roofing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs and perform physical work as required
  • Valid Working at Heights certification
  • Valid G Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
