Position Summary:
As a Roofing Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair, maintenance, and installation of roofing systems. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that roofing projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting roofs to identify issues such as leaks, damage, or wear and tear.
  • Repairing or replacing damaged roofing materials.
  • Installing new roofing systems, including shingles, tiles, metal panels, and other materials.
  • Applying waterproofing materials to roofs to prevent leaks and damage.
  • Removing debris and cleaning roofs to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Conducting routine maintenance on roofs, including cleaning gutters, inspecting for damage, and sealing any gaps or cracks.
  • Working safely at heights and using appropriate safety equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about roofing maintenance and repair.
  • Completing required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Collaborating with other team members, including contractors and supervisors, to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • All other duties assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in roofing installation, repair, or maintenance preferred.
  • Knowledge of different roofing materials and installation techniques.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues with roofing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Certification or training in roofing installation or repair a plus.
