Job description

Commercial Roofing Project Manager

Location: Branford, CT
Compensation: $95,000–$120,000 (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee commercial roofing projects from pre-construction through closeout. This individual will manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, and customer relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial roofing projects from award through completion.
  • Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate with customers, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
  • Develop project schedules and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Track labor, material costs, budgets, and project profitability.
  • Manage submittals, change orders, RFIs, purchase orders, and project documentation.
  • Conduct jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, and production.
  • Prepare and submit project billings and closeout documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with Superintendents to maximize production and resolve project challenges.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial roofing project management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and metal roofing.
  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management/estimating software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
