Roofing Company Production Project Manager 

West Coast Precision Roofing

Location: Glendale, CA / Greater Los Angeles Area
Reports to: Owner
Compensation: $80,000 โ€“ $120,000 DOE + company vehicle, cell phone, and computer
 

About the Role:

We are a growing residential and commercial roofing company doing approximately $5M in annual revenue with strong plans to scale. We are hiring a Production Project Manager who will own day-to-day production operations. This person will be responsible for running jobs profitably, leading crews, maintaining high quality and safety standards, and communicating clearly with clients and the internal team.
The right candidate will take full ownership of production while working alongside our existing project manager (who will handle delegated projects under your direction).
 

Key Responsibilities: 
โ€ข Own all production scheduling, crew assignments, material coordination, and job timelines
โ€ข Protect and improve job profitability through strong planning, change-order management, waste control, and real-time cost tracking
โ€ข Lead and develop field crews; maintain high standards for quality, safety, and professionalism
โ€ข Communicate clearly and proactively with homeowners, commercial clients, sales, and office staff
โ€ข Delegate appropriate projects to the existing project manager and provide oversight
โ€ข Conduct job site visits, quality checks, and final walkthroughs
โ€ข Identify and resolve production issues quickly to keep jobs on schedule and on budget
โ€ข Support the companyโ€™s growth into more commercial work
 

What Weโ€™re Looking For: 


Required
โ€ข Proven experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or similar role in roofing or construction
โ€ข Track record of running multiple jobs profitably
โ€ข Strong leadership and crew management skills
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication
โ€ข Ability to take ownership and operate with minimal supervision
โ€ข Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record
 

Preferred
โ€ข Roofing-specific experience (residential and/or commercial)
โ€ข Experience with job costing and production software
โ€ข Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
โ€ข Experience scaling production in a growing company
