The Assistant Roofer II role is designed for individuals who have developed foundational roofing skills and are ready to take on more responsibility while continuing to grow toward a Journeyman role.
What You'll Do
  • Perform roofing installation tasks with increasing independence
  • Install roofing components including insulation, coverboard, membranes, flashing, and accessories
  • Support layout, staging, and production activities
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Identify and communicate basic installation concerns to leadership
  • Assist with training and supporting newer crew members
  • Maintain quality standards and productivity expectations
  • Follow all safety procedures and Stop-Work expectations
What We're Looking For
  • Commercial roofing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of roofing materials and installation methods
  • Ability to read basic drawings and instructions
  • Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor environments
  • Strong attendance and teamwork
