Job description

An established and successful family owned roofing company is seeking an experienced and organized Project Manager to lead residential and commercial roofing projects from estimate through closeout. Responsible for scheduling, quality, safety compliance, subcontractor coordination, and client communication to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple roofing projects simultaneously (residential & commercial).
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, crews, vendors, and material deliveries.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, manufacturer warranty requirements, and company safety policies (OSHA).
  • Communicate proactively with homeowners, property managers, handle client expectations and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years managing construction projects; 2+ years in roofing strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record delivering roofing projects on time.
  • Familiarity with roofing materials, systems, and manufacturer installation standards.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and best practices.
  • Valid driver’s license; reliable transportation.

Skills & Tools

  • Excellent scheduling, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and subcontractor management abilities.
  • Proficient with project management and construction software (JobNimbus, Company Cam) and MS Office.
  • Basic understanding of reading job packets, scope documents, and construction contracts.
  • Ability to work at heights and inspect roofing systems on-site.
  • Bilingual candidates may be eligible for increased compensation.
