Role Description This is a remote, contract Salesperson role focused on residential roofing services. The Salesperson will generate and qualify leads, conduct virtual or phone-based consultations with homeowners, and present roofing solutions, including metal roofing options, aligned with customer needs and budgets. Daily activities include following up on inquiries, preparing and explaining estimates, managing a sales pipeline, and coordinating with operations to ensure accurate project details and smooth handoffs. The role involves maintaining detailed records in CRM tools, meeting sales targets, and supporting a professional, transparent customer experience from first contact through closing. The Salesperson will also gather market feedback to help improve offerings and sales processes.
Qualifications
  • Sales and customer relationship skills, including lead generation, consultative selling, and closing residential service contracts.
  • Communication and interpersonal abilities, such as clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and presenting complex information in simple terms.
  • Organization and technology skills, including CRM use, basic computer proficiency, and effective time and pipeline management in a remote setting.
  • Knowledge or interest in residential construction or roofing, including the ability to learn product features, installation basics, and value propositions of metal roofing systems.
  • Self-motivation and reliability, with the capacity to work independently, manage a flexible contract schedule, and consistently follow through with customers.
