State Roofing Systems is seeking Commercial Roofers of all experience levels to join our growing team. Whether you are an experienced roofer or looking to grow your career in the commercial roofing industry, we offer opportunities to develop your skills while working on high-profile projects.

Our crews work on a variety of commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, roof coatings, and tile roofing systems. This is a hands-on role working alongside experienced professionals who value safety, quality craftsmanship, and teamwork.

You’ll play a critical role in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems that protect some of the largest commercial facilities in the region.


Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems

  • Assist with tear-offs, roof preparation, insulation installation, membrane application, coatings, and tile systems

  • Operate roofing tools and equipment safely and efficiently

  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations, including proper fall protection

  • Work collaboratively with crew members, foremen, and project managers

  • Maintain job site cleanliness and organization

  • Assist with material handling, staging, and job site preparation

What You Bring
  • Experience in commercial roofing, single ply roofing, or roof coating systems is preferred but not required

  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and at heights

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies

  • Dependable with strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, tile roofing, or roof coating systems

  • Experience working on commercial construction sites

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus

  • Valid driver’s license preferred
