Job description

Organization Profile:

NESsT is a US-based nonprofit organization supporting entrepreneurs who create dignified employment for people most in need in emerging markets. NESsT invests in the people behind the emerging market social enterprises that are using the tools of business to address the social, economic and environmental challenges of our time. We do this through robust business acceleration by providing technical assistance and patient capital to early-stage SMEs ready to scale, and through our two funds, providing capital to investment-ready social enterprises operating in the missing middle. Since our founding in 1997, NESsT has accelerated and financed 248 enterprises to sustain more than 112,000 formal jobs targeting at-risk women and youth, smallholder farmers, and ethnic minorities.

NESsT's "invest, accelerate, transform" investment model is uniquely designed to drive maximum - and measurable - impact. NESsT operates two businesses: 1- Impact funds that provide debt financing to small and growing businesses; and 2- Accelerators that catalyze early-stage enterprises towards investment readiness.

To date, NESsT has impacted more than 35,000 entrepreneurs and improved over 1.7 million lives across 50 countries. NESsT is working towards a dream to ensure that no one is left behind.

The organization operates in Latin America with offices in Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile, and in Central Europe with offices in Poland and Romania.
