Roll-Off Drivers are responsible for transporting construction and demolition debris, primarily from large, high-volume construction sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent mounting and dismounting of a heavy-duty truck throughout the workday.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesJob Schedule: Monday – Friday, Every other Saturday
Job Shift: 5:00AM – 3:00PM
Operate roll-off trucks safely through congested urban, suburban, and confined job-site environments.
Perform frequent backing maneuvers; strong backing skills are essential, as a significant portion of service is completed in reverse.
Routinely enter and exit the truck cab to service customer locations.
Climb onto containers as needed to level loads or secure tarps for transport.
Perform physical tasks including lifting (50–75 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing. Physical demands may vary by site.
Maintain professional communication with customers and dispatch at all times.
Comply with all company policies and all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Work variable hours based on route needs, including weekends and/or holidays, up to legal driving limits.
Accurately read maps or keymaps, complete daily driver logs, and conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete required documentation.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background check, motor vehicle record check, and DOT physical.
