Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Pay: $19.50

This role supports the safe and efficient operation of tuber machines used to produce multi-wall paper bags. You will assist with machine setup, material preparation, production runs, and basic troubleshooting to ensure accurate, high-quality output that meets customer and company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up tuber machines according to specific job and customer specifications.
  • Ensure all materials, including paper rolls and related supplies, are prepared and ready before orders are run on your shift.
  • Set up and load paper rolls onto machines safely and accurately.
  • Support running production orders in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner to meet production schedules.
  • Assist in scanning and recording paper consumption to the correct production orders during runs.
  • Assist with troubleshooting production issues and performing minor repairs and adjustments on machinery as needed.
  • Promptly report major mechanical or operational issues to the shift leader for further action.
  • Gather, inspect, and review finished production as it comes off the line to verify quality and accuracy against customer specifications and company standards.
  • Identify and understand all key functions of the machine operation and offer constructive suggestions for process and quality improvements.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, cooperative work environment.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of policies and procedures related to machine operation and production processes.
  • Train new hires on machine operation and related tasks when requested.
  • Support other departments and perform additional tasks or assignments within the scope of the business as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40560.00 - $40560.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
