Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Reports To: CEO
Position Overview
Allen Distribution is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a strategic and operational partner to the CEO and the Executive Team during a period of accelerated growth. As a privately held, family-influenced organization, the CFO will balance entrepreneurial agility with financial discipline, ensuring the company scales responsibly while preserving its core values.
This is position is focused on strategic initiatives, strengthening financial infrastructure, improving visibility into performance, and aligning finance with operations across a growing distribution network.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute plans to support long-term strategic initiatives
• Build and scale the finance function, including FP&A capabilities
• Develop site-level and customer-level profitability reporting
• Partner with operations to track labor, throughput, and margin
• Lead forecasting, and scenario modeling
• Support expansion decisions with ROI and capital planning
• Lead cash flow management, banking relationships, and capital structure execution
• Implement scalable financial systems and reporting tools
• Ensure compliance, controls, and risk management
• Serve as a member of executive leadership team
• Build and develop high performing leaders within the FP&A team
• Establish KPI frameworks aligned with EBITDA, cash flow, and ROIC
• Drive initiatives around working capital optimization.
