What You'll Do โ€ข Supervise approximately 13 hourly union employees on the Rod Mill floor โ€ข Ensure adherence to safety procedures and foster a zero-incident culture โ€ข Drive production results aligned with quality standards and daily output goals โ€ข Complete shift reports and communicate effectively with crew and supervisors โ€ข Coordinate with Lower Reform Foreman and General Foreman as needed โ€ข Support professional growth and accountability across your team โ€ข Tackle special assignments and lead operational improvements What We're Looking For Experience & Education: โ€ข High school diploma or GED required โ€ข 3-5 years of rolling experience in rod or bar mill production โ€ข Experience supervising in a unionized manufacturing environment Technical Skills: โ€ข Ability to interpret safety protocols, maintenance instructions, and operational procedures โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills for crew direction and reporting โ€ข Basic math proficiency - add, subtract, multiply, divide โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Office and PC-based systems Leadership & Interpersonal Strengths: โ€ข Assertive and goal-oriented with strong organizational skills โ€ข Ability to remain positive and composed under pressure โ€ข Able to collaborate with multiple departments and manage priorities Physical Requirements & Work Environment โ€ข Frequent standing, talking, and listening โ€ข Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crawling โ€ข Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds โ€ข Work environment includes noise, mechanical parts, heat, cold, and outdoor exposure โ€ข Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus Why Join Us?
