ABOUT THE TEAM:

Anduril's Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) Division is seeking a Program Manager to join our team. Anduril's Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) is a division with two missions: 1) build highly capable autonomous drones, and 2) build solid rocket motors at scale. We transform products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius from early concepts into fully operational capabilities by partnering closely with specialist engineering, operations, and production teams. Through our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team, we design and manufacture solid rocket motors using advanced materials, proprietary formulations, and high-volume production methods-delivering safe, reliable propulsion systems that support a wide range of mission requirements. TRS hires software engineers & hardware engineers, who are excited to build across a diverse and powerful portfolio-from autonomous aerial systems to high-performance solid rocket motors. Our teams contribute to highly capable autonomous robotics systems and propulsion products that operate reliably in the most demanding mission environment. We work in close coordination with specialist teams to solve some of the hardest problems facing our customers.
Anduril is seeking a highly skilled, mission-driven, highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsive Program Manager to provide critical tactical support and operational oversight for our strategic defense clients, driving the adoption, expansion, and long-term success of Anduril's cutting-edge Launched Effects. You will serve as a trusted advisor, deeply understanding client operational requirements and translating them into impactful solutions that leverage our solutions. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical aptitude, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a passionate commitment to national security. In addition, this role achieves results by focused on the day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring the smooth deployment, ongoing functionality, and optimal performance of Anduril's Launched Effects solutions. You will be the primary point of contact for operational queries, issue resolution, logistics coordination, and direct support to ensure our military and government customers' success.

  • Strategic Client Engagement:
    • Serve as the lead point of contact for key defense accounts focused on Launched Effects solutions, establishing and nurturing strong, enduring relationships with military leadership, program offices, and operational end-users.
    • Develop a deep understanding of client mission objectives, operational environments, and strategic priorities to proactively identify and position Anduril's Launched Effects products.
    • Navigate complex government procurement processes, contracting mechanisms (e.g., DIU, SBIR, OTA), and funding cycles to ensure successful program execution and growth.
    • Champion client needs internally, collaborating closely with Anduril's Engineering, Product, and Integration teams to inform product roadmap and ensure timely, high-quality solution delivery.
  • Daily Client Operations & Support:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day communications, operational requests, and urgent support needs related to Launched Effects product line.
    • Address client inquiries promptly and effectively, providing direct solutions or coordinating with internal technical support, engineering, and logistics teams for rapid resolution of issues.
    • Track and document all client interactions, support tickets, and operational feedback in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) with meticulous detail.
    • Ensure clients receive timely updates on product enhancements, revisions, and relevant technical documentation.
  • Solution Adoption & Growth:
    • Drive the successful adoption and integration of Anduril's Launched Effects products into client operations, demonstrating clear mission value and operational superiority.
    • Identify and cultivate opportunities for expansion within existing accounts, including upselling new features, capabilities, cross-selling adjacent Anduril technologies, and securing follow-on contracts.
    • Develop comprehensive account plans, sales strategies, and proposals that align with client requirements and Anduril's strategic objectives.
    • Conduct compelling technical demonstrations, presentations, and product briefings to diverse audiences, from technical specialists to general officers.
  • Tactical Execution & Deliverables:
    • Coordinate the scheduling and logistics for product demonstrations, training sessions, and field support visits with clients and internal teams.
    • Monitor the operational status and usage data of deployed Launched Effects products, proactively identifying potential issues or areas for improvement in coordination with technical teams.
    • Process and track client orders for system upgrades, spare parts, consumables, and additional training modules.
    • Facilitate contract renewals by ensuring all terms and conditions of current agreements are met and documented.
    • Prepare and deliver routine operational status reports, usage metrics, and support summaries to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Internal Coordination & Problem Solving:
    • Act as the liaison between client operational teams and Anduril's internal engineering, product, and field support teams to ensure client requirements are accurately relayed and understood for immediate action.
    • Troubleshoot basic technical issues on-site or remotely, escalating complex problems to the appropriate technical experts.
    • Support the integration and qualification and testing of new Launched Effects system by coordinating client access and feedback.
    • Assist in identifying and documenting client needs for future product features based on immediate operational feedback.
  • Performance & Reporting:
    • Forecast and track key account metrics, including revenue targets, program milestones, and operational deployment success.
    • Provide regular, insightful reports to internal leadership on account status, strategic opportunities, competitive landscape, and challenges.
    • Manage contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms that support long-term partnerships and Anduril's business goals.
  • Domain Expertise & Market Intelligence:
    • Maintain an expert-level understanding of Anduril's Launched Effects product portfolio, including technical specifications, operational advantages, and future development pathways.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends in rocket motor systems, applications and defense technologies, as well as evolving national security threats and doctrine.
    • Gather and synthesize client feedback and market intelligence to contribute to Anduril's product development and competitive strategy.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure all client activities comply with contractual agreements, security protocols, and relevant government regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, contact information, and equipment inventory.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science), Business Administration, or a related discipline.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in program/project management, sales, or business development within the defense, aerospace, or government contracting sector.
    • Demonstrated experience with unmanned aerial systems (UAS), autonomous platforms, AI/ML applications, or Launched Effects technologies is highly desirable.
    • Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one, is required.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing complex client relationships and closing significant contracts with U.S. government entities (DoD, IC, etc.).
    • Prior military experience, especially in an operational or procurement role related to advanced systems, is a significant advantage.
