What would you do in this role?

You will be the first and last employee our patients would interact with during their time at ROC. You can make patients feel less nervous or scared or make a patient’s day by giving them a warm welcome. Your attention to detail will allow for the correct information be provided to the clinical team and ensure the correct billing is taken care of for the patient. You are essential to facilitating a great patient experience.

A Day in the Life

  • Check-in/check-out patients, and schedule follow-up appointments;
  • Accurately enter patient demographic information in patients’ electronic medical records;
  • Scan photo ID’s and insurance cards and verify insurances;
  • Collect applicable co-pays and ensure billing information is updated;
  • Balance money drawers at end of day;
  • Maintain calm and efficient patient flow through the clinics.

Requirements

  • Certifications/Educations:
    • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of:
    • Customer service principles and practices
  • Experience:
    • Using computer systems and applications, including entering data and typing

Preferred Qualifications - How can you set yourself apart from other applicants?

    • One year of experience performing reception duties.
