POSITION: Account Executive - Industrial Automation & Robotics

LOCATION: New Orleans, LA
SUMMARY: Our client is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to drive business development and revenue growth throughout the Gulf Coast industrial market. This is a true full-cycle sales role responsible for identifying opportunities, developing relationships, managing a sales pipeline, and closing new businesses.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business opportunities
    Identify, qualify, and close opportunities within refineries, petrochemical facilities, chemical plants, and other industrial sites
  • Build relationships with plant-level and corporate decision-makers
    Conduct customer meetings, site visits, presentations, and solution demonstrations
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
  • Maintain an active sales funnel and accurately track opportunities within CRM systems
  • Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to develop customer solutions
  • Present value-based solutions focused on safety improvements, cost savings, and schedule certainty
  • Travel throughout assigned territories to support customer engagement and business development efforts
  • Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to leadership

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven success in industrial sales, business development, or account management
  • Experience selling into maintenance, turnaround, inspection, operations, or capital project environments
  • Strong prospecting, pipeline management, and closing skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both site-level and executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage customer activity and opportunities
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Gulf Coast region

Preferred

  • Experience selling industrial automation, robotics, inspection services, NDT solutions, specialty services, equipment, or industrial technologies
  • Existing relationships within refineries, petrochemical plants, chemical facilities, and heavy industrial markets
  • Knowledge of maintenance and turnaround operations
  • Experience selling to both owner-operators and industrial contractors
