Job description

This is a project-based position.

Operates the robot cutter.

  • Benefits-eligible within first 30 of employment
  • Paid Time Off after 90 days of employment

  • Day and Night Shift available- 10%-night shift differential

** This position does not pay per diem. **

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sets up and operates CNC, NC, lathes and semi-automatic.
  • Studies blueprints, layouts, and sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operation, and setup requirements.
  • Uses calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Verifies completed work with the tolerance limits stated in the specifications.
  • Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Performs other duties and activities as required.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • Works under minimum supervision.
  • Typically reports to a supervisor.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • May require a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • May require previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
