Job description

Anyware Robotics Senior Technical Program Manager, Robotics Fremont, CA·Full time

Anyware Robotics builds general-purpose mobile manipulator robots for industrial applications. Our robots are trusted by customers across logistics, retail, and manufacturing, supporting applications such as truck unloading, mobile palletizing, and machine tending.

Description About Anyware

Anyware Robotics builds general-purpose mobile manipulator robots for industrial applications. Our robots are trusted by customers across logistics, retail, and manufacturing, supporting applications such as truck unloading, mobile palletizing, and machine tending.

The Role

Anyware's robots combine perception, planning, controls, hardware, operations, and customer workflows. We are seeking a Technical Program Manager, Robotics to drive the integrated execution of our highest-priority robotics programs across concept development, prototyping, validation, production/NPI, and customer deployment.

You will turn priorities into executable cross-team plans, manage delivery risks, and influence tradeoffs across scope, resources, schedule, and customer needs.

Project owners own their deliverables, while team leads own technical delivery and people management. You own overall program alignment, visibility, and follow-through. This role will report directly to the CTO.

What you'll do
  • Drive multiple concurrent robotics programs across software and hardware development, from concept through validation, production/NPI, and deployment.
  • Drive execution with owners and team leads by tracking commitments and ensuring risks, blockers, and scope changes are surfaced and addressed before milestones are affected.
  • Influence program tradeoffs across technical scope, reliability, schedule, resources, cost, and customer priorities, facilitating timely decisions without taking technical ownership away from engineering leads.
  • Drive deployment readiness and outcomes by connecting field requirements to development plans and coordinating engineering, testing, operations, and customer-facing teams through acceptance and stabilization.
  • Resolve cross-functional gaps by making ownership and next steps explicit when issues span software, hardware, testing, deployment, or operations.
  • Improve planning and communication with data using delivery history, engineering bandwidth, KPIs, and risk trends to support realistic roadmap commitments and concise leadership updates.
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of technical or engineering program management experience delivering work across multiple teams.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on engineering experience building, integrating, testing, or debugging complex hardware‑software products.
  • Experiences building and managing integrated program plans covering scope, milestones, critical paths, budgets, resource needs, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and recovery actions.
  • Strong skills in integrated scheduling, critical paths, budgeting, resource planning, risk management, and milestone definition.
  • Ability to influence decisions, clarify ownership, and drive execution without formal authority.
  • Strong communication and experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.
  • Comfortable working onsite with engineering teams and physical robots.
Nice to have
  • Robotics, autonomous systems, industrial automation, or warehouse automation experience.
  • Experience with customer deployments or system acceptance.
  • Technical degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related field.
Why Anyware
  • Real Impact: Your work does not stop at a demo. Everything we build ships to real customer sites, where Pixmo is deployed in production solving real problems at scale. You will see your contributions running in production, not sitting in a lab.
  • An A+ Team: Anyware Robotics is built by top talent. Our team has collectively earned six Best Paper Awards and Finalist honors, including the ICRA 2025 and ICRA 2024 Best Paper Awards.
  • An A+ Robot: Pixmo won the MHI Best Innovation Award at both ProMat 2025 and MODEX 2026, the two largest logistics automation shows in North America. This is the first time in history a robotics company has won this prestigious award back-to-back. Pixmo also earned a 2026 RBR50 Robotics Innovation Award, naming it one of the 50 most innovative robotics solutions globally.
  • Fast Growth: You will take on real ownership and real responsibility from day one. With the team doubling every year, there is plenty of room to step up and shine.
  • Generous Equity: Every team member receives meaningful equity. We want the people building Anyware to share fully in what we create together.
Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $140K - 190K USD/year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional compensation may include equity, benefits, or other incentives, where applicable.

  • Comprehensive health insurance for you and your family
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Paid sick leave
  • Daily meal credit
Equal Opportunity Statement

Anyware is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
