Position Summary

The Manager of Supply Assurance is responsible for ensuring continuity, resilience, and reliability of supply across the endโ€‘toโ€‘end supply chain. This role proactively identifies supply risks, develops mitigation strategies, and works crossโ€‘functionally with Procurement, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to protect customer service and business performance. The position plays a critical role in managing constraints, supplier performance, and disruption response.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the Supply Assurance strategy to ensure uninterrupted supply in support of customer demand, production plans, and business priorities.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply risks related to suppliers, materials, capacity, quality, logistics, and geopolitical or macroeconomic factors.
  • Responsibilities include longer-term supply continuity agreements.
  • Develop and maintain escalation protocols, and contingency plans for critical materials and suppliers.
  • Lead crossโ€‘functional response plans for supply disruptions, including shortages, supplier delays, capacity constraints, and transportation issues.
  • Partner closely with Supply Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing to align demand, supply, and inventory strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and capacity health, escalating risks and driving corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive root cause analysis for chronic supply issues and lead implementation of sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support new product introductions, sourcing transitions, and supplier changes by assessing supply readiness and risk.
  • Establish and track supply assurance KPIs such as material availability, recovery lead time, supply risk exposure, and service impact.
  • Communicate supply risks, mitigation plans, and status updates clearly to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of proactive risk management and accountability.
Experience Required

Education and Experience:

  • Masterโ€™s degree or professional certification (APICS CPIM/CSCP, PMP, or similar) preferred.
  • Experience managing global suppliers and complex, multiโ€‘tier supply networks.
  • 7 to 10 years' experience preferred.

The salary range for this role is CAD $118,250/year - $130,000/year.

The salary range listed is based on market data and internal benchmarks. Actual compensation may vary depending on a candidateโ€™s experience, skills, and qualifications.
