The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the concept, design, detailing, and documentation of robotic work cells, industrial automation equipment, and related machinery. This role works closely with engineering teams and customers to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions while supporting projects from concept through implementation. Client Details My client is a leading provider of industrial automation, robotics, and manufacturing solutions serving customers across a variety of industries. The company is known for delivering innovative technology, customized equipment, and engineering excellence. Description Design and develop robotic work cells and industrial automation equipment. Create detailed mechanical designs, assemblies, and engineering documentation. Design equipment modifications, enhancements, and custom solutions. Develop pneumatic system designs and select electrical sensors and components. Perform engineering calculations to validate system and component designs. Create functional, cost-effective designs that meet customer requirements and project timelines. Develop customer proposals for robotic and automation systems. Maintain project documentation, drawings, and engineering records. Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously. Collaborate with customers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders throughout project execution. Stay current on new technologies, products, and industry trends. Provide excellent internal and external customer support.
