The Project Manager plays a key role in leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver Laboratory Solutions and Robotics.  This role is responsible for independently managing highly complex and high-visibility projects. This position is accountable for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with defined quality standards. Success in this role requires close collaboration with departments including R&D Hardware and Software Engineering, Planning, Service, Production, Product Management, Partnership Development, Marketing, Applications, and the Advanced Product Engineering (APE) team. The role may involve occasional travel and extended hours based on project demands. A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt quickly are essential in the fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Coordinates Multi-Disciplinary Teams (10%)Lead and collaborate with teams across other departments within organization to ensure the successful delivery of Laboratory Solutions and Robotics projects.
  • Defines Project Deliverables (10%)Work closely with project teams to review user requirements and define clear, achievable project deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Project Scheduling and Monitoring (40%)Develop detailed project schedules, track progress, and proactively manage implementation activities. Work with the project team to identify and mitigate delays to maintain project timelines. Responsible for independently managing highly complex and high-visibility projects, ensuring successful coordination across multiple stakeholders and external partners on large-scale projects.
  • Risk Management (15%)Identify potential project risks early and collaborate with teams to develop strategies for managing and mitigating these risks to keep the project on track.
  • Stakeholder Communication (10%)Provide regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that priorities, deliverables, and timelines are communicated clearly and effectively.
  • Project Closure Coordination (10%)Oversee post-delivery efforts, ensuring that all necessary closure activities are completed, including documentation, handover, and customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership-Focused (5%)Builds team knowledge and fosters growth by mentoring peers and promoting knowledge exchange. Contribute to the broader success of the Project Management team by supporting management functions such as coordination and process improvement.

  • Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Science.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional project teams in a technical or engineering environment, preferably in laboratory robotics.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • PMP Certification is preferred for candidates with 2 or more years of experience and required for those with 5 or more years of experience.
