Camden's Promise Charter School seeks a teacher for our STEAM program. The ideal candidate will be familiar with STEM/STEAM education and interested in learning more about implementing project-based learning for our Middle and Upper School curriculum.

 

This position requires an educational background in a STEM-related field and a passion for working with children and STEM (SHOP FOCUS) ! This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth.

 

Responsibilities and Primary Duties

 
  • Teach STEAM/STEM courses and electives.
  • Organizing and managing the STEAM lab.
  • Maintaining lab equipment and keep the lab organized and clean.
  • Shop Focus
 

Other Qualifications (preferred):

 
  • Robotics Experience.
  • Coding Experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM related field.
  • Knowledge of lab safety and best practices for hazardous materials.
  • Comfortable around students in middle and high school.
