he QAE will work closely with engineering teams to ensure the robots are operating as needed, troubleshoot hardware as it pops up (mechanical and electrical) and software issues, collect and analyze data, and support successful product onboarding and deployment efforts.
This position requires a hands-on individual with mechanical, electrical, or robotics aptitude who is comfortable working in operational environments and traveling to deployment sites throughout the Northeast region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute test plans and test cases developed by Global Engineering Test Engineers.
  • Operate, commission, and support testing of robotic systems in live sortation center environments.
  • Collect, document, analyze, and report testing results and system performance data.
  • Support debugging and troubleshooting activities alongside Engineering Leads and Test Engineers.
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical maintenance activities, including equipment inspections, nuts and bolts swap out, cable routing verification, charger connectivity, and system power-up/power-down procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management and tracking of spare parts and test equipment.
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential hardware, electrical, software, and integration issues.
  • Collaborate with Test Engineers, Engineering Managers, and site personnel to resolve technical challenges.
  • Interface with local Operations, Maintenance Engineering, Workplace Health & Safety, and other site stakeholders.
  • Follow established safety procedures and testing protocols during deployment and validation activities.
  • Support commissioning efforts for newly deployed robotic systems and assist with technology onboarding into the product development lifecycle.
