Job Title Embedded Controls Software Engineer Overview We are seeking an experienced Embedded Controls Software Engineer to design, develop, and validate embedded control software for advanced automotive systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in embedded software development, real-time systems, embedded controls, and automotive software development throughout the complete product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement embedded control software for automotive systems. Perform software architecture, analysis, and design for new embedded features. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into functional and technical software specifications. Develop and optimize embedded control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, C/C++, and Python. Implement AUTOSAR-compliant software components and support software integration. Perform software verification and validation through Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), unit testing, and integration testing. Conduct on-target software validation and debugging using automotive development tools. Perform root cause analysis and resolve software defects. Ensure compliance with automotive software quality and functional safety standards, including ISO 26262, ASPICE, and AUTOSAR. Develop automation scripts to improve software development and testing efficiency. Participate throughout the embedded software development lifecycle, from requirements through implementation and validation. Required Qualifications Master's Degree. 6+ years of IT experience. 4+ years of software development experience. Hands-on experience with embedded software development. Strong knowledge of embedded systems and real-time software development. Proficiency in C/C++ programming. Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow. Experience developing automation scripts using Python. Experience with AUTOSAR software development. Experience with CAN/LIN communication protocols. Experience with software verification and validation, including MIL, SIL, and HIL testing. Familiarity with automotive software development tools and debugging environments.
