Job description
We manufacture and supply reliable, high-quality medicines and vaccines to meet patients' needs and drive our performance.
Our network of 37 medicines and vaccines manufacturing sites delivered 1.7 billion packs of medicines and 409 million vaccine doses in 2024 to help make a positive impact on the health of millions of people. Our supply chain is not just core to our operations; it's vital to bringing our innovations to patients as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible. Technology is transforming how we manufacture medicines and vaccines, enabling us to increase the speed, quality and scale of product supply.
We need the very best minds and capability to help us on our journey to make more complex products, harnessing the power of smart manufacturing technologies including robotics, digital solutions and artificial intelligence to deliver for patients.
Position Summary

You will work closely with site leaders, operators, and cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, service, cost, and innovation. You will coach, teach, and mentor colleagues to build capability and ownership of continuous improvement. You will help the site close performance gaps and embed GPS as a standard way of working. This role offers clear growth, real impact on patient outcomes, and alignment with GSK's mission of uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
Responsibilities

- Coach and train leaders and teams in GPS, Lean and Six Sigma methods to build capability across the site.
- Facilitate problem solving, Kaizen events, Accelerators and DMAIC workshops to deliver site priorities.
- Partner with site leadership to define CI roadmaps, agree targets and measure performance against key metrics.
- Capture and report financial and non-financial benefits of improvement work and ensure sustainable handover.
- Mentor junior practitioners and support cross-site knowledge sharing and best practice adoption.
Why You?
This role is on-site with hybrid opportunities depending on business needs. Occasional travel may be required.
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

- Demonstrated experience deploying Lean or Six Sigma tools in a regulated GMP manufacturing setting.
- Green Belt certification or equivalent practical capability in Lean Six Sigma or structured improvement approaches.
- Experience coaching and facilitating cross-functional teams and leading change initiatives.
- Proven record of driving measurable site performance improvements through Lean Six Sigma methods.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or sterile manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and regulatory expectations.
- Proven performance using Hoshin or strategy deployment methods.
- Ability to utilize data analysis, digital tools, and dashboard design to measure enhancements effectively.
- Experience mentoring GPS/operational excellence communities across multiple sites.
What we value in you
We look for people who coach others, take practical action, and hold teams accountable. You will be curious, resilient and focused on solving problems that matter. You will enjoy working with people at all levels and helping them learn new skills. You will bring humility, clarity and a commitment to safety and quality.
