ABOUT US
Reframe Systems is a Physical AI and robotics company on a mission to make high-performance housing attainable and abundant in the communities where people want to live. Through our vertically integrated delivery model and highly automated microfactories, we deliver climate-resilient homes and buildings with greater speed and predictability than traditional construction.
Our volumetric modular buildings are produced in our Andover, MA microfactory, with a growing pipeline across North America and a new microfactory on the way. We are building a system that balances repeatability with site-responsive design, enabling homes adaptable to each site, community, and customer need. Our cross-disciplinary team brings together architecture, robotics, design engineering, software, factory operations, and field delivery to change how housing gets delivered.
We're reimagining the future of housing through a smarter and more sustainable system that empowers people to live better. Come build it with us.
OVERVIEW
We're looking for an entry-level Carpenter to join our growing team. This role focuses on building and assembling modular housing components-ranging from framing and sheathing to installation of doors, windows, and structural elements. You'll contribute to both factory production and on-site assembly, ensuring our homes are strong, accurate, and built to last.
RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Perform carpentry tasks in a controlled factory setting and on residential job sites.
  • Frame and assemble wall, floor, and roof components using standardized methods.
  • Assist in installing doors, windows, subfloors, sheathing, and other structural or enclosure elements.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure assemblies are accurate, consistent, and ready for follow-on trades.
  • Interpret shop and construction drawings to guide accurate builds and installations.
  • Operate saws, nailers, routers, and other woodworking tools safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure assemblies meet company standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized workspaces and follow all safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of carpentry experience a plus.
  • Experience in framing, sheathing, and installation of windows, doors, and related assemblies a plus.
  • Comfortable reading drawings and measuring to tight tolerances.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs and work in overhead positions for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
  • Team-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Primary work location is at Reframe's factory in Andover, MA
  • Physical demands include standing, lifting, bending, and handling materials/tools.
  • Some overtime or weekend work may be required to meet production schedules.

Reframe Systems is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
If you believe you have the skills to thrive in this role, we encourage you to apply-even if you don't meet 100% of the listed requirements. At this time, we are only considering candidates who are authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
