Job Description

The Robotics Technician supports controls engineers by maintaining and troubleshooting FANUC robots and robotic welding equipment in a weld shop environment. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and safe operation of robotic systems to ensure efficient and reliable production.

Robotics program graduates are encouraged to apply.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Robotics degrees or certificates, including graduates of robotics and industrial programs, are preferred.
  • Graduates of robotics and industrial programs, such as community college robotics programs, are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
  • Familiarity with robotic welding processes and weld shop operations.
  • Experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Exposure to or experience with robot programming for FANUC or similar robots.
  • Comfort working night shifts after initial training on first shift.

Work Environment

The position follows a night shift schedule from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with initial training on first shift for approximately two weeks. The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, with typical manufacturing noise levels and exposure to welding operations and industrial equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
