Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Application Engineer to support and grow our advanced engineering solutions. In this role, you will work closely with Sales Engineers to identify, demonstrate, and implement cutting-edge technologies across a variety of industries. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset. This role will be worked throughout the Midwest Region.

Key Technologies:

  • Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) / Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Cordless DC tools, providing in-depth technical knowledge and support.

  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to respond to customer inquiries and provide timely, effective solutions.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting clients with technical issues and ensuring satisfaction throughout the solution lifecycle.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and vendor partners to drive project success.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Program and troubleshoot various automation systems including:

    • PLCs

    • HMIs

    • Servo Drives

    • Vision Inspection Systems

    • Industrial Robots

    • AR Devices

  • Lead the on-site implementation of advanced solutions at customer facilities.

  • Conduct technical training for Sales Engineers and clients on new technologies and system integrations.

  • Support proposal and sales efforts by assisting with solution scoping, hardware/software costing, and training plans.
