Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Software Support Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical issues, supporting enterprise applications, and building strong relationships with end users. This role is ideal for a technology professional who is a true problem solver, thrives in customer-facing environments, and has broad technical knowledge across multiple platforms and systems.
Pay: $80,000 to $90,000 annually
Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced application and software support to internal users and business stakeholders.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software-related issues.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned applications.
  • Monitor application performance and ensure system availability and integrity.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve application issues when necessary.
  • Assist with application upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and migrations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and system configurations.
  • Participate in projects related to application deployments and improvements.
  • Train users on new and existing software solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of application support or software support experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications and business systems.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience conducting user training and technical presentations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and migrations.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with ITIL methodologies.
  • Experience supporting multiple business applications in a large enterprise environment.
