About this Opportunity:

As a Director of Intelligent Automation and AI Operations, you will lead the delivery of RPA, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions that improve how Orion operates at scale. This role focuses on turning real operational challenges into deployed automation that reduces manual work, improves consistency, and enables sustainable growth. Working closely with operational, technology, and product teams, you will guide automation initiatives from concept through production-ensuring solutions are practical, embedded in day-to-day workflows, and deliver measurable results. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to execution while building durable automation capabilities. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.

Location Status:
It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work as a Hybrid employee, with three (3) or more days each week required on-site at one of the listed office locations.

Candidates should be located within a commutable distance to an office. Internal candidates currently aligned to an Orion office location may be given preference; however, internal candidates with varying work arrangements may be considered based on experience and business needs. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

In this role, you'll get to:
  • Lead delivery of RPA and workflow automation initiatives across core operational areas, including service, onboarding, and back-office
  • Translate operational problems into scalable automation and process redesign solutions
  • Prioritize and sequence work based on business impact, technical readiness, and team capacity
  • Implement RPA solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or equivalent tools
  • Guide design and refinement of LLM-assisted and AI-enabled workflows with appropriate controls and governance
  • Partner with process owners to identify automation-ready processes and design exception-only workflows
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and modern build workflows to help scale automation delivery, accelerate prototyping, and improve development throughput
  • Stay closely engaged through design, build, testing, deployment, and production optimization
  • Track and report on automation outcomes, including cycle time reduction, capacity released, error prevention, and quality improvement
  • Partner across Operations, Technology, Data, and Risk to ensure solutions are effective, sustainable, and compliant
  • Identify and prioritize deeper automation opportunities based on performance data and operational signals
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams with a strong execution mindset and commitment to delivering real results
We're looking for talent who:
  • Has proven experience delivering RPA solutions into production using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or equivalent tools
  • Has demonstrated experience implementing AI-enabled operational workflows, including LLM-assisted use cases with appropriate controls
  • Translates complex operational problems into executable automation and process redesign solutions
  • Leads teams responsible for delivering automation and process change end-to-end-not just designing it
  • Has a track record of measuring and communicating automation outcomes, including cycle time reduction, capacity release, error prevention, and quality improvement
  • Has comfort operating in ambiguity while maintaining delivery momentum and stakeholder confidence
  • Has strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting outcomes to senior leadership
  • Has experience working cross-functionally across operations, technology, data, and risk/compliance teams
  • Has a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Has a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and works effectively with people at all levels in an organization

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
