Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain and replace automation systems at key points in the production process
• Troubleshoot non-functioning components including sensors, and control components
• Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality
• Periodically report to Operations Manager regarding automation capabilities and status
• Working with vendors specific to the automation line when repairs or malfunctions occur
• Receives and completes daily production needs from floor supervisor
• Holds team working with automation equipment accountable for all OSHA, state, and local safety and environmental standards
Qualifications & Skills (Required):
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite/Office365
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of OSHA regulations (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified preferred
PLC Experience highly desired
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelors or Associates in mechanical engineering, robotics, or a related field
• Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools with emphasis on robotics repairs
• 1-3 years experience in a robotics or mechanical technician role
