A robotic maintenance technician is in charge of building and maintaining robotic equipment and related automated systems. Your responsibilities in this job are to troubleshoot current robots, evaluate areas to make improvements, program and repair operations, develop procedure manuals, and maintain records on changes. Your duties have you working with programmable controllers, circuit analysis, microprocessors, feedback systems, electronics, and hydraulics. A robotic maintenance technician also assists in developing new robots as well as implementing upgrades on existing ones and keeps an inventory of cables, cords, and other equipment needed. You also document test procedures and results to help with changes required.
