Job description

Express Employment is seeking a Robot Weld Technician in Shelbyville, KY. This person will work Friday - Sunday 6am to 6pm. Must have previous experience with Robotics and welding (Gas Metal arc MIG).

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and program robotic welding systems to automate welding tasks and optimize production efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic welders to ensure peak performance and prevent downtime
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate placement and weld quality
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize weld parameters and robotic programming
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect personnel and equipment
  • Train other staff on the operation and maintenance of robotic welding systems when required
