Job description

Robot Operator

Pay Rate: $25–$30/hour

Duration: 6-month assignment (with possibility for extension or conversion)

Hours: Full-Time

Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday–Friday; two shifts available


Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Robot Operator to support the collection of high-quality data for advanced robotics and artificial intelligence applications.

In this role, you will operate and teleoperate robots through real-world manipulation tasks, producing consistent and precise demonstrations used to improve robotic systems. This is a hands-on position requiring strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive work consistently over extended periods.


What You'll Do

  • Teleoperate robots through a broad range of real-world manipulation tasks for extended periods
  • Operate robotic systems safely and consistently while following established procedures
  • Produce accurate, high-quality demonstrations that meet daily volume and quality targets
  • Maintain a high level of precision and consistency across repetitive recording tasks
  • Monitor task performance and provide structured feedback to research and hardware teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational improvements and communicate observations from day-to-day robot operations
  • Follow established operating procedures and maintain reliable performance across assigned tasks

Schedule

This role operates Monday through Friday with two available shifts:

  • Morning Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM PST
  • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM PST
