To thrive as a Roblox Developer, you need proficiency in Lua programming, 3D modeling, and game design principles, often demonstrated through an active portfolio of Roblox projects. Familiarity with the Roblox Studio platform, version control systems like Git, and online developer communities is crucial for the technical aspects of the job. Strong creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and players set exceptional developers apart. These skills are vital for creating engaging, bug-free experiences that attract and retain users in the competitive gaming industry.
Roblox Developers often collaborate in small, agile teams that may include fellow developers, 3D artists, UI designers, and project managers, depending on the scope of the project. While some roles are solo or freelance, many companies or studios prefer a team-oriented approach to leverage diverse skills and ideas. Regular communication via online platforms and feedback sessions is common to ensure cohesive, high-quality game development. If you enjoy creative collaboration and iterative problem-solving, you'd likely find this dynamic environment both engaging and rewarding.
A Roblox Developer is a programmer or designer who creates games, features, and experiences on the Roblox platform using Lua scripting. They may work on building game mechanics, designing environments, creating UI elements, or optimizing performance. Roblox Developers can work independently, in small teams, or for larger studios, often monetizing their games through Robux and developer products.

We are actively hiring for our Sensei team. We're looking for enthusiastic people who can commit to flexible afternoon and Saturday hours during the school year. We offer comprehensive training and genuine support from our close-knit team to help you thrive in this role. If you're looking for a fun, meaningful job where your work really matters — this is it.
Code Ninjas is the nation's fastest-growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 7–14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way — by building awesome projects in Blockly, JavaScript, Unity, Godot, Roblox Studio, and Minecraft. Kids have a blast and can't wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving as they progress from white to black belt. Our core promise is simple: kids have fun, parents see results. We believe in it so much it's written on the walls.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, people-person to join our team and help create a fun, safe learning environment for kids. Our Code Senseis are the heart of our center — coaching students, sparking curiosity, and keeping the energy up. No advanced coding background required; we'll train you on everything you need. This is a fantastic opportunity for an outgoing high school student looking to build real resume experience, develop leadership and communication skills, and stand out in college applications. It's also a great fit for college students and anyone with a passion for working with kids.
