Job Summary:
Keylent Inc is seeking a Module Lead with expertise in Azure AVD to design, implement, manage, and maintain Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop experiences. The role involves managing end user desktop environments and utilizing Azure tools for deployment and support.
Responsibilities:
• Looking for Azure AVD subject matter expertise in designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop experiences and remote apps for any device.
• Should be able to manage end user desktop environments, including delivering applications and configuring user settings.
• You should use the Azure portal, templates, scripting, and command line tools to manage an Azure Virtual Desktop deployment.
• Strong hands on experience installing and configuring Azure Virtual Desktop including host pools AVD images and scaling.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Azure Virtual desktop solution.
• Capacity planning, in coordination with AVD Architecture & Engineering.
• Strong hands on experience on Azure Virtual Desktop Operational Support.
• Manage Azure Active Directory for Azure AVD and Azure AVD Clusters HA systems.
• Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions for Azure AVD based production configuration.
• Have good knowledge of Azure AVD publishing applications web server load balancing Resource Manager License Management.
• Manage and deploy updates via Azure update manager.
• Update the AVD image based on business requirements provided by client, including monthly security patches, updates required to support a client enterprise release and version upgrades of software that has been operationalized.
• Creating, updating, and responding to Monitors of the AVD environment.
• Service Restoration activities not requiring privileged access (incident management, system troubleshooting, performing Elevating access activities, escalating actions requiring Privileged Access to client team members).
• Very good hands on experience on Group Policy management.
• Good understanding on cloud License management.
• You should have experience with Azure technologies, including: Very good hands on experience cloud concept Azure Virtualization, Azure Networking, Azure Identity and Azure Storage.
• Manage and maintain identity, security, compliance, and protected user devices.
• Printing on Azure Virtual Desktop using Universal Print.
• Good hands on experience on User profile management product, Roaming Profile, Fslogix and OneDrive.
• Good hands on experience in automating upgradation/migration, remediation, jobs, report tasks by using creating PowerShell CLI script and PowerShell and Batch scripts.
• Create all necessary documentation including system standards, run books, and more Research.
• Should be aware of an App Layering solution like Flex App MSIX App attach etc.
• Strong communication skills.
• Candidates working for this position should possess at least 4 5 years of work experience as a Azure Virtual desktop Engineer.
• Candidates must possess ample knowledge and experience in system automation, deployment, and implementation.
• Candidates must possess experience in using Azure AVD, Azure AD, Azure Network, Azure security and Storage and ample experience in configuring and automating the tasks through PowerShell.
• Working experience on VMware horizon view.
• Strong hands on experience on upgradation/migration on VMware and VMware horizon view.
• Creates, manages and deploys Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and associated custom GPO templates for the virtual environment.
• Follows and enforces organizational IT security policies and processes, including change management processes.
• Ability to serve as the primary engineer for the client software and hardware environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, and Mac operating systems.
• Ability to make recommendations regarding the client architecture, and articulate the value that new products would bring to clients.
• Knowledge of industry standards; available technologies; and security and system best practices.
