Our hotel is currently hiring a Lead Room Attendant.

A Hotel Lead Room Attendantsupervises dailyhousekeeping, inspects rooms for quality, trains staff, manages supplies, andcoordinates with other departments (Front Desk, Maintenance) to ensure spotlessrooms and excellent guest service, often performing cleaning duties themselveswhile also checking others' work and handling escalated issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision & Training: Oversees Room Attendants, assigns daily tasks, inspects cleaned rooms, coaches staff on standards, and trains new hires.
  • Quality Control: Conducts thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas, ensuring adherence to hotel standards.
  • Coordination: Acts as a liaison between Housekeeping, Front Office, and Maintenance to resolve discrepancies (like room status) and address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Operations: Manages room assignments, runs reports, handles turndown service, ensures proper use of chemicals, and manages Lost & Found.
  • Guest Service: Responds to guest requests, maintains confidentiality, and ensures a positive guest experience.
  • Safety & Security: Enforces safety protocols, manages master keys, and reports any hazards or suspicious activity.

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • Experience: Previous housekeeping experience, often with supervisory or lead experience.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to give clear directions and communicate with guests and staff.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push/pull heavy items.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous focus on cleanliness and presentation.
  • Leadership: Ability to motivate, coach, and manage a team effectively.
