Jiffys Assistance is seeking an independent and skilled Roadside Assistance contractor to provide emergency vehicle support and customer service. This role requires a versatile individual capable of performing repairs, diagnostics, and various roadside services efficiently while working independently. As a 1099 contractor, you will manage your own schedule and be responsible for your own insurance and taxes. Jiffys offers support to the right candidate, including assistance with startup costs & providing Employee discounts on our mobile machanic services from jiffys mobile from our quality mobile machanics. Once you are selected for an interview. You will download the ShopSafe app & jiffys assistance app and sign up prior to the initial interview as a lot of the testing will be conducted online through those two platforms.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside emergencies including jump starts, lockouts, and fuel delivery
• Perform tire changes and replacements using appropriate equipment
• Maintain safety protocols with reflective clothing, gloves, and safety glasses when necessary
• Provide exceptional customer support and communication during service calls
• Maintain equipment and document completed service activities accurately
• Optional delivery tasks such as parts, food, and shopping errands
• Lift and handle up to seventy-five pounds regularly as part of daily tasks

Required Qualifications

• Vehicle repair and basic mechanical knowledge
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience with emergency response and problem-solving
• Effective time management and ability to perform all job functions efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• No prior experience required; willing to train motivated candidates
• Ability to perform simple math calculations
• Valid driver’s license
