Job description

Construction Partners Inc., a publicly traded highway infrastructure company, is currently searching for an IT Support Analyst to join the IT team in Dothan, AL. IT Support Analysts are responsible for providing technical support, assistance, and help with basic IT support and training for all end users. This position is also responsible for resolving issues promptly and keeping the users informed on the status of their open cases. End-user support will be provided by leveraging PC remote control software, telephone, video conferencing, email, etc. The Support Analyst team will work closely with all the other IT departments to resolve any IT issue.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user IT support and troubleshooting.
  • Accurately document reported issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the ticketing system.
  • Monitor and respond to support requests submitted through the ticketing system and email.
  • Maintain accurate records of computer and hardware inventory.
  • Configure, deploy, and support desktop and laptop systems for new and existing employees.
  • Configure, deploy, and provide ongoing support for mobile devices.
  • Create, manage, and maintain Active Directory user accounts and access permissions.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Enforce company IT security standards and acceptable use policies.
  • Monitor and audit workstations to ensure operating systems, antivirus software, and other applications remain current and compliant.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong technical aptitude with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft operating systems in both server and workstation environments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Foundational understanding of network infrastructure and core networking concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

Requirements
  • Associate degree in a computer-related field or equivalent certification.
  • Relevant education, experience, and professional training may be considered in lieu of formal certifications.
  • Ability to travel to other supported or non-supported sites as needed.
  • Participation in an on-call rotation is possible; additional compensation provided.
