Job description

The Head Coach oversees and directs their assigned NTFL team. This includes the Cross Country Season and the NTFL Road Racing Series only. Coaches in this position are required to develop strategies and training regimens, plan practices, and develop meet plans.

Instruct and demonstrate skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement. Must be able to assists in all accommodations for team operations. Must be able to also assist track and field head coach when needed.

This position may call for long hours and frequent traveling. Assesses player's skills and assigns team positions. Plan and direct training sessions.

Recommends acquisition or trade of players for NTFL team Directs conditioning of players to achieve maximum athletic performance. Oversee's, support's and communicate's with the coaching staff. Provide educational opportunities where possible.

Develop and implement an appropriate training program, practice schedule and meet schedule. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Valid U.S. Driver's License Must be able to coach men and women Minimum of three (3) years of collegiate or professional level track and field coaching Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills Must be able to assist with cross country and road racing Must be able to travel year round Must speak English Preferred: Head Coach experience Team Management experience Strong leadership and organizational skills
