What are some common challenges faced by Registered Nurse Assistants (RNAs) in a clinical setting?

Registered Nurse Assistants (RNAs) often encounter challenges such as managing high patient loads, adapting to fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environments, and effectively communicating with both patients and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Balancing multiple responsibilities, such as assisting with patient care, documentation, and supporting registered nurses, can require strong time management skills. However, these challenges also offer opportunities for RNAs to develop resilience and advance their clinical knowledge through hands-on experience.
