OK – Registered Nurse – Psychiatric Contract

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Pay Rate: $42.00/hr – $44.00/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 1 year required
EMR: McKesson

About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a psychiatric night shift contract opportunity in Lawton, OK. This role supports behavioral health patients across psychiatric adult, adolescent, pediatric, and geriatric care needs in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients

  • Monitor patient behavior, safety, and clinical condition

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered

  • Support crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed

  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic care environment

  • Document patient care accurately in McKesson

  • Collaborate with providers and behavioral health team members

Requirements

  • Active Oklahoma Registered Nurse License required

  • Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience required

  • BLS certification required

  • Experience with adult, adolescent, pediatric, or geriatric psychiatric patients preferred

  • Must be able to work night shift and holiday coverage
