Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), medication administration systems, and common hospital software is essential. RN pay in North Carolina can vary based on several factors, including work setting (such as hospitals, outpatient centers, or long-term care facilities), geographic location within the state, years of experience, and level of education or specialization. Urban hospitals or large medical centers typically offer higher wages compared to rural facilities, and nurses with advanced certifications or specialized skills may command higher pay.
