Big Spring, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (3x12 and 4x12 shifts) | 7:00 AM โ€“ 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit setting
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the appropriate care team members
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license โ€“ must be in-hand at time of submission
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
  • Active Nursys verification required at time of submission
  • Must reside more than 110 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
  • Must be available to complete required compliance lab items within 72 hours of offer acceptance
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
  • Familiarity with Medical Surgical patient populations and high-acuity care environments
