Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), medical monitoring devices, and medication administration protocols is essential. Strong communication, empathy, and adaptability help nurses stand out in patient care and team collaboration. These competencies ensure safe, effective care delivery and foster positive outcomes in dynamic healthcare environments.

Building rapport with your team and staying organized can help you navigate the transition smoothly, ensuring you provide safe and effective patient care from day one.
